A project of writing, photographs, and books presented by RIFLI's Rochambeau ESL class.
Major funding for RIFLI is provided from the RI Department of Education (RIDE), our Library Partners, the City of Pawtucket Community Development Block Grant (CDBG from US HUD), Federal LSTA funds through the RI Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS) and Walmart.
The work that goes on in this class would not be possible without the help of many people. Special thanks to our volunteers: Rebecca, Leela, Wright, Faina, Martha, Michael, and Nini for all of their time in and out of the class working with students. Thanks also to all of the Rochambeau library staff, including Martha for giving our students the opportunity to present work in this display case, Judanne and Tom for helping our students find the books featured in this case, Denise for providing books throughout the year to our learners, Frank for setting up our tables and chairs each week, and everyone behind the circulation desk who are so kind and helpful (Bonnie, Edilberta, Lyndsy, and Tim)!
